If someone told you that in Morocco, there exists a place where, in the month of december, you can relax in the sun on neverending beaches of fine sand in a pleasant temperature of 30°C, bath yourself in a lagoon, observe pink flamingos, do windsurf and taste grilled fish as much as you can take, you would probably answer that such thing is not possible...
Yet it is possible, but it is known by few people only ... In Dakhla, more than 1750 km south of Casablanca, and 350 km north of the Mauritanian border.

Dakhla is located at the tip of a peninsula with a long arm of sand in the Atlantic Ocean where it results in the formation of a calm bay with clear waters as long as 40 km and as wide as 3 to 6 km. It is in fact an ecosystem protected against currents and windswept, where you climb the sand dunes to just walk right with your feet into the calm crystal clear water. By observing the area, you see the unique geography: the hundreds of kilometers of flat beaches made of fine golden sand, the high cliffs of about twenty meters opening onto desert plates, high perfect waves who break closer to land, clear waters revealing teeming schools of fish...
Destination: Senegal. Why? The climate and Senegalese hospitality!
Senegal is one of the sunniest countries of the world (over 3,000 hours of sunshine per year). There are two seasons: a rainy season from June to October, with a greater amount of rainfall south than north. A dry season from November to May, with temperatures between 22° C and 30° C with significant variations between the coast and the interior. At the coast, especially between St. Louis and Dakar, the trade winds along the coast take temperature down . In Dakar, the average daytime maximum is 24° C from January to March and between 25° C and 27 ° C in April, May and December. From June to October, temperatures reach 30° C.
